Tillman appeals from his convictions and sentences for aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting an officer with violence. He argues that the trial court erred in denying his judgment of acquittal motions because the state failed to prove an essential element of each charge, to wit: that the officer was lawfully engaged in performing a legal duty. He also argues that the courts referral of his restitution obligation to collections court was unconstitutional and violated his due process rights. We affirm.
